Why I do the work I do...
I am a lover of the arts, and it is my passion to create. Through my passion for the arts, I chose to obtain an education in Visual Communication. I love the magic and poetry of a visual statement that communicates a message clearly. In essence, that is what I am, a visual communicator. Presently, my goal is to help people to communicate their stories or messages visually.
My approach:
I like to do research and learn as much as I can about my subject. I then brainstorm and come up with innovative ideas for the project. I do not like forcing ideas to come to me, as it never works; instead, I have strategies that I utilize to help ideas flow more smoothly. I practice this through exercise, chakra clearing, listening to music, going for a walk, or watching a good movie. I work with pencil, Adobe CS6 programs: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Muse, and Dreamweaver. My goals are to practice consistently and improve upon my drawing skills. Lastly, I would like to gain more Adobe software knowledge.

Present work:
Presently, my labor and experience come from my years of experience, education, and everyday life. From the very beginning, it was my grandfather telling me to draw anything and to keep practicing until I got the right results. Through the years, I was encouraged to do something with my talents. My first choice was becoming a chef, which is relaxing and something that comes so naturally to me. It was due to an illness that I had a change of heart, and since art has the same effect, here I am. Presently, I completed obtaining my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications with Specialization in Illustration, and I am seeking an Internship, or an entry level position so that I can continue to learn and hopefully work full time in this profession. Also, I am taking my design talents to the next level by earning badges with Code Academy in 2015 and presently, attending a course called" Web Development Blueprint with Skillcrush.
